So I guess... as for why it's the first thing to show up? Well... it looks to me like maybe it's a mirroring thing. Like, similar timelines drawn to each other.

I agree. Alan, what he's saying is that this timeline jumped into our stream first because it's one very similar to ours--

My point is that it's similar in the sense that their technology is achieving a similar goal.

How so? From what he said, it looks like he's just creating a lot of simulations-- a lot of copies of whatever goes on inside the computer system there.
