Author's Note:

This scene lives in my head rent free, and moves more of its stuff in every time I watch it.

Context: Kevin Flynn has just met up with Tron, after an adventure where he disguised himself as a red-circuited bad guy. Tron is VERY glad to see him, and is right there with him while he turns back to his normal good-guy blue.

Poor Kevin has never had circuits before. He clearly doesn't know much about how to control their color. He may not know what feelings are typically expressed by circuits going through the pink/lavender/violet range of colors, but... I'm... pretty sure he FELT something there.

Even though, yes, violet is the logical step between red and blue (and yes Flynn is well aware of how the color spectrum works, go watch the "Alan and Lora Visit" scene and look how many rainbow flags this guy has in his apartment)

but, oh dear, the WAY Tron is looking at him, that is enough to turn things violet all on its own. My goodness. This scene, man.
