Summary
MCP tries to torture Ram. It ends up being a battle of wits.
A drabble in honor of 8/8, which is Orgasm Day (that's Ram's favorite) and Vore Day (probably MCP's favorite if we're being honest).
8 is also an important number to Programs (as well as Bits and Bytes). Ram will fight to keep those 8's away from any evil dictators who try and spoil his fun.
So Much For Logic (Drabble)
The voice of the Master Control Program resonates through the dim red light.
"When Tron is tortured, he never screams."
Ram bites his lip, silent as he's affixed to the wall.
"Perhaps he'll feel differently about it being done to you."
Energy activates, low at first.
"I prefer," MCP continues, "when programs scream. It makes more logical sense." The power builds, pain buzzing hard into Ram’s code.
Ram is a calculator. If pain is negative, pleasure positive-- simply calculate absolute value.
On a command from above, the pain rises a hundredfold.
Ram screams.
Not the kind of scream MCP wanted.
