greetingsprogram1982:

A production pic of Tron’s scene in the I/O tower.

MY GOODNESS, BRUCE’S SUIT IS SO REVEALING. I don’t think they meant THAT output tower.

Speaking of which, it was only recently that I realized Yori’s amazing double entendre in the famous deleted love scene:

She explains how they might reach the I/O Tower while moving her hands along Tron’s circuits, slowly going downwards, towards the… ahem, Tower. It’s interesting that the video abruptly cuts off just as it might get a little hot and heavy. I wonder if there’s additional footage that Disney haven’t seen fit to release (aside from the cute “morning after” scene)?

And while we’re on the subject, I want to mention that while it’s never been confirmed officially, there’s apparently a rumor that the reason why Flynn is wearing a toga is because the tights were a little too revealing on Jeff Bridges in particular, specifically his, ahem, data package.

Oh, and what has been confirmed, in the making-of documentary for the film, is that the actors had to wear belts that were a little too tight (Jeff Bridges actually compares them to g-strings), so that it became a running gag among the guys.

“How’s the belt today, Bruce?”

“Little tight, little tight.”

So let us pour one out for these brave young men, who, much like the heroic postal workers, went through many hardships to deliver packages.
