It bothers me that they don’t do “Lora Baines/Yori” as they did full names for both Kevin and Alan, she has a name tag and it’s fully visible within the film.
Additionally- that they know and credit the double role of Dillingers assistant and Sarks lieutenant but don’t do “Popcorn coworker/Ram” - at this point he didn’t have an official name (Roy) yet so that’s understandable but idk
Yeah… All this is frustrating.
I find it so weird that this movie went to the effort of having “Popcorn Coworker” played by the same actor as Ram, and placing him in a neighboring cubicle to Alan in reflection of Ram and Tron being cellmates… and yet they never went any further than those hints that he was Ram’s User (we don’t get any more about that until Legacy and The Next Day)
Like so many things in this movie, it was so, so subtle if you aren’t watching for it. On first watch, it comes across as if his purpose is just to be a bystander addressing Alan so that the audience knows Alan’s name.
Also:
My pattern recognition brain just went “oh, Warrior 1 and Warrior 2! I know those two from yoga class!” And now I want a yoga position called “Expert Disc Warrior” it would probably look like the pose of that guy in the discus-throwing statue and be reeeeally uncomfortable to hold for long
