Same time Sam is in the grid and everything is going down Jet has to deal with everything at Encom. For some reason or another he ends up in the system fighting Mackey and Ed Jr’s MCP/Sark equivalent.
This time he’s going in there with intent unlike Flynn or Sam, he’s not aware of what’s going on/living programs (different timeline) but he intended to hack and take down the absolutely horrible decisions of the new management.
Ends up working with the original Tron and Yori (fully believe grid versions are copies) except… oh no, they look exactly like my parents in their 20s and they’re touchy. Mortifying experience.
I just think he’s neat, Tron/Yori should get to be happy, the Mackey stuff gets addressed, Lora lives.
