This post is soooo not aimed at me

because I LOVE Tron (primarily 1982 because it’s less Disneyish and I mostly can’t stand Disney) and I have pretty much zero interest in amusement park rides

and also I have a deep-seated mostly-irrational feeling that any Original media on which others are based (e.g. a book they based a movie on) is Inherently Superior to whatever was based on it

(and by this logic I should therefore value the Pirates of the Caribbean RIDE above any other part of the franchise, so I guess in that sense I have to vibe with the spirit of this post, haha FML)
