Do you think Ram was a Life Actuary or a Non-Life Actuary?

That is, do you think he worked in health or life insurance, or property insurance?

Part of me wants to say property insurance because I’ve been a pharmacy tech for years and had soooo many bad interactions with health insurance and I don’t WANT to think about that poor sweetheart being involved with that hellscape and tragically thinking he’s just helping people plan for the future, all innocently oblivious to what a hellscape it is.

Not that property insurance is all great either but at least it’s not gambling with lives

BUT that’s just wishful thinking, what I’d like to believe. I can’t think of any actual canon evidence offhand, to support one or another type of insurance for his workplace.

(Regardless, I really want to believe that he survives somehow and does NOT go back to the insurance company, having learned the value of fighting for the Users and not the Corporations.)

(I mean he’s still gonna be involved with a corporation, if he stays in the Encom system… but I imagine he’s gonna be laser-focused on what he can do for the philanthropic side of Encom, even to the possible detriment of Profits)
