do you guys think saying another program’s user’s name is like blasphemy. because then from Tron’s perspective the story is like
you’re a security program who’s been put in jail about two weeks after you’ve been born. and then this random guy comes up to you, commits sacrilege by speaking the name of your personal god, claims he has amnesia, almost dies at least twice, then you find out he’s a god too and he helps you to defeat the dictator/usurper god who put you in jail.
and then he takes you from your homeworld and cuts off your communication with your personal god
i will totally accept that headcanon.
