yori💙🩵 including my oc, Mouse. During the good o’l days :^) I have far too many headcanons for Yori of //before// things hit the fan, but! I’ll share them in a fic eventually!

I have just heard the news of Cindy Morgans’s passing and I am absolutely heartbroken. Words cannot fully describe how much her work in Tron inspired my and other’s creativity.

Despite Yori only ever having one major role within the franchise. It is one so iconic that decades later people are still falling head over heels over her. It makes me glad to see that despite Disney’s treatment of her, the fandom still manages to keep Yori alive and relevant to all things Tron in one way or another.

And it’s all thanks to Cindy Morgans’ absolutely phenomenal performance.

Thank you, Cindy Morgan. For inspiring so many of us.

May you rest in peace. <3

Sending many prayers towards her family during this time.

Yes yes yes. All of this.

The news hit me harder than celebrity deaths usually do. Enough to crush my creativity a little bit.

I’m one of those new fans who fell head over heels for Yori and the whole classic Tron world just recently. And I, too, have lots of headcanons about Yori in a world where things haven’t hit the fan.*

May she live forever in the imaginations and creations of those of us who don’t forget.

*(A world where original Yori and Tron and Ram get to keep on living more-or-less happy lives in the Encom system– completely separate from the New Grid that Flynn’s out there building with the unauthorized copy he made of Tron. Because yes, Disney wronged her, and wronged that whole universe. And, as the type of fan who keeps old things alive, and loves a happy ending… my mission is to fix it my own way. The events of Legacy might still be happening in my stories, but it rarely comes up.)

(And even for me as a new fan… this news is devastating. It is going to take out my creativity for a while. But we Tron fans are extremely good at coming back from bad news. We will keep Yori alive.)
