Besides Ram and Yori, Tron also considers Alan-1 an intimate partner.
I/O Tower contact, and the sensations surrounding it, are basically the program equivalent of sex.
Programs are horny for Users. They can get each other off, but the drive is centered around getting to a User.
Also, when programs get intimate with each other, they disintegrate into an energy cloud together for a while. (ok this one’s actually from an early draft of the script for the Deleted Love Scene. but still, no proof they intended it to be canon in the final cut)
