FLYNN: what… friggin… driver…
TRON: …Yori.

(Yori makes everything work out okay, and they all live happily ever after)

so I was thinking about the “Tron if Yori had a gun” meme

…and I realized

she HAD A GUN

a damn LASER GUN

and ALL FLYNN HAD TO DO was import her along WITH the LASER that SHE WAS THE CUSTOM-WRITTEN SOFTWARE FOR

instead of… going WAY THE HELL OUTTA HIS WAY to… I guess code a WHOLE NEW laser software? ‘cause for some reason he wanted that, instead of the original badass awesome laser software which was YORI?

…theoretically i guess the most charitable assumption is Tron agreed to be copied to Flynns Grid, because Users are to be obeyed, BUT he still made sure Flynn knew he was highly dubious about the safety of all this, and did not want Flynn risking any more programs’ lives than necessary, especially Yori and Ram
