…the Sea is so unexplored, and yet in passing mentions we’ve seen:

• contains scary sea monsters (novelization of 1982)
• generated the ISOs (Betrayal comic)
• got poisoned to stop the ISOs (Betrayal comic)
• was where Rinzler ended up (end of Legacy)

so many ways we can GO from that…

…an angry Sea spitting Rinzler out regenerated in the form of a vengeful kaiju kraken monster was only the first idea that occurred to me here

second was “Jordan helped Flynn build the Grid, and the Sea was to her what Clu was to Flynn. she made it in her image to help create stuff. it contains her memories and might even have been trying to communicate with Flynn the whole time. the ISOs formed from Kevin’s User Power and Jordan’s creative energy, and thus are his children in much the same way Sam is. …and Rinzler got regenerated as a vengeful kaiju kraken monster.”
