Every time I look at this clip, my heart warms at the thought of happy Tron who greets new friends with a hug…
….and as dumb as it seems to me that Donald Duck is there, I might be able to tolerate that for the sake of seeing Tron being so adorable.
…the only time we non-gamers get to see Tron being all sweet and affectionate, the way he’s meant to be, is in the 1982 movie. …other than that, we only get Legacy where he’s brainwashed into a killing machine, and Uprising where he’s all traumatized and broody and can’t open up to anyone.
but… this is always gonna be how I see him.

aaaaand I’m not gonna lie, I want more of that.

oooh I know a lot of good fics exploring the dynamic between Alan and Tron… I’ve gotta put together a list of them at some point.

so, a while ago I mentioned a funny experience I had with accidentally getting some MP3s mixed up…

and… then I had to explain exactly WHY I had a MP3 of Wonderwall stored in such close proximity to my Tron stuff that I could end up accidentally giving it a name that I meant to give the mp3 of hidden background dialogue in Tron 82, and then accidentally uploading that frickin mislabeled Wonderwall to a Tumblr post I was trying to make about the Tron audio

…the reason was, I was using it for this.
