Ok the booping thing was fun, but… I’m kinda glad it was only for one day.

I think I would have gotten tired of it pretty fast– toward the end, I was already starting to get disappointed whenever I saw I had notes and it turned out they were all boops.

I get that sometimes people benefit from just being able to make some small gesture that has no meaning except “I recognize your existence and want to interact with you”

But if that was nearly all the interaction, I know I’d start feeling lonely again, craving contact with a little more meaning… like “hey I saw a specific thing you wrote and I liked it.”

We still have those buttons.
