I have developed such an intense distrust for capitalism that I’ll see a headline like “Study finds fat employees are more likely to call out sick from work, losing employers millions every year” and i will barely even notice the translation when that headline enters my brain as “thin employees (who have a dangerously high risk of valuing appearances over health) are more likely to come to work sick”
