Unprompted opinion of the day: I hate the way that the word ‘colonel’ is written and pronounced. Like that’s nowhere near the same word. If there’s a perfectly good etymological reason of why it is like that, I don’t care, I don’t want to know, I hate it. I also don’t respect anybody who takes orders from a kernel.
