(and now I’m flashing back to a conversation I had with my awesome trans girl roommates back in CA about how hydrangeas turn pink or blue like litmus paper with the pH of the soil and how this one boring conservative-ass neighbor has a big yard full of boring white hydrangeas in boring pH neutral soil and how maybe they could really use some variety in their diet and how we have lots of advanced garden watering supplies and are very unscrupulous)
