Sometimes a day where you kinda struggle to survive turns into a day where you buy a 19th century book press. You know, as you do.

This is her! … I know, not very impressive-looking, though she weighs a TON. The metal label refers to an office supplies shop that was founded in 1845 and is still around today.

I gave her a quick clean with a wet rag, not expecting much given what I assumed was a massive amount of rust… but what do I see?

Not impressive? She’s *gorgeous*

I’m going to look into how to best clean her up better without damaging the decorations.
