Is there anyone else out there that doesn’t care for window coverings such as curtains and blinds etc? I really can’t stand them, I like to see the world outside my window at all times and I just can’t figure out why or if there are others out there ???

I agree, I would rather not have curtains myself. I like natural outdoor light, I don’t even need darkness to sleep, and opening and closing curtains is a hassle I wish I didn’t have to deal with.

The practical concerns that force it on me are things like “neighbors will complain if they see me naked by my window” and also “the outdoors fluctuates between oppressive humid heat and deathly cold, and nothing short of a blackout curtain in addition to the AC or heater can keep the indoors at a livable temperature around here.”
