Can a stray’s empty mind be embedded with a dead programs disc? Since CLU can’t create new programs can he manipulate one to become another? Can he modify the face of the original holder to become the strays face? By idk the help of someone like gorn? Or could he change the face of the stray to be the disc’s holder, He could revive his best blackguards and sentries just by this method, Tron can be interestingly dark if you think deep enough about it’s concepts

I’ve been fascinated for a while by the idea that Clu could “resurrect” programs in some way or another

in keeping with the idea that he’s been systematically derezzing programs for basically centuries, in a world where he can’t create new programs, and yet there’s still a ton of them? …yeah, I’m gonna headcanon there’s some sort of resurrection going on

especially since it seems like MCP may have done the same thing?

the idea that competing in the Games, for some programs, is a sort of time-loop hell where they die again and again, derezzing into a cut-paste buffer to be re-used over and over… *shudders*
