August 13th, 2024 9:54pm notron anyvirus worldcon 2073 I was the 5g silver wire they came fundraising to my jewelry booth at WisCon like almost a decade ago back then it just listed the donation amount and then as just a curiosity it mentioned how much silver and how much gold it was worth i did not have cash but I had scrap silver wire. I dont think they had gotten any non-cash donations yet. it threw them for a small loop they asked me to pick any number to be my ID number (specifically saying weird numbers like pi were ok if they werent taken yet) I picked Graham's number but they couldn't do that but afaik I am still on for their planned minneapolis worldcon in 2073 I will be 92
