My favorite banned terms on this site are “suicide prevention” and “safe sex”

shit so… ok this post was from 2021 …but looks like it’s actually very relevant now…
because looking in the notes, this seems to have been done because Apple iOS was getting especially picky back then about what constitutes “sensitive content.”
these terms were only “banned” if you were accessing the site on an iphone using the app from the apple store
i do not know this firsthand bc I have never used an iphone …..so Idk if it still applies at all for ios users, bUT…
apple iOS is still being horrible about requirements for the apps they carry
(see: the Patreon outrageousness going on now)
so this is a valuable old post to remind you they have been doing this shit a while
