I, too, just discovered the queue
But it was in a discord chat after I posted this page from the Tron novelization
Which has a version of the Deleted Love Scene but in this version Tron gets his own Magical Girl transformation like Yori’s, except his hair has a “warrior’s forelock and queue”
and that was the day I learned that a “queue” is that little rat tail in the back of the Badger Hair Tron hairdo that’s only ever seen in behind-the-scenes production photos
(it’s hard to find any photos showing the back, though, I think Tron is self-conscious about his queue, lol)
ANYWAY
Since Tron is a sentient computer program
And since I just TODAY learned, from this post, that “queue” is also apparently a programming term
I am gonna headcanon (haircanon? header-canon? ha!) that when you include a queue in programming, your program manifests inside the Computer World with a funky rat tail hairdo
(and no I’m not gonna queue this post because that is TOO many levels of pun for me right now)
