listen I feel like I have a reasonable level of skepticism about supernatural phenomena

and the way this would go is:

• if I start showing pregnancy-like symptoms without having sex, I will not think it’s pregnancy. So it would have to go on for a concerningly long time before I even try to get tested for that.
• if I can be convinced– by doctors with medical testing equipment– that it really is pregnancy– then my conclusion is gonna be “someone, somehow, inseminated me without my knowledge or consent.”
• if someone shows up and admits to doing that, and looks like a fuckin’ angel– then 1. I am going to dismiss the “looks like an angel” part as either a hallucination or some kind of magician’s trick, and 2. the “admits to inseminating me without permission” part will serve as further reason to get that abortion (not that I was ever seriously considering anything else).

I truly doubt that a real deity itself could convince me there was anything divine about this, without going in and overriding the way my brain actually works.

However, the delay in testing (due to there being no reason to imagine this could be pregnancy) might unfortunately get me past the legal viability threshold, sooooo… IDK.
