As I’ve been getting used to being in a pharmacy tech job again, I’m re-familiarizing myself with the wacky linguistic world of medication names.

“Ramipril” is a pleasing one to me because it seems like almost a mashup of “Ram” and “April” (and April contains part of the date-range of Aries, the Ram sign).

All in all, besides having the name of Ram (my favorite TRON character), it also appeals to my Pattern-Recognizer and my sense of all things in the universe being connected through puns.

(However, it is a type of med called an “ACE inhibitor.” And if you’ve read my fanfic and my headcanons, you know I… do not exactly view Ram as either being ace, or having any inhibitions.)
