Anonymous:
Flynn's brand of 'User-ism' is a bit of a fringe denomination in that it's distinctly monotheistic rather than polytheistic.

True. Because Flynn decided to create his own whole world where he was the only User anyone ever met.

Which is deeply messed-up. And, in light of my other recent post on this, I’m now feeling extra depths of horror on behalf of Legacy/Uprising Tron.

Because he’s (possibly?) the only practitioner of non-Flynn-centric User-ism in that entire world.

If you can even count him as a practitioner of it, when he is no longer even allowed the connection he used to have with his User.

He’s uniquely lonely, and has had his faith oppressed, perhaps destroyed, in a uniquely horrific specific way that I can’t remember ever seeing happen to anyone else in all of history or fiction.
