Problems with how things work in general:

1. “The purpose of a system is what it does.” If the way something works ends up with too many people using it in a bad way, it needs to change.

However

2. The only way a system is likely to change is that the people using it in the worst, most unethical ways will thus gain enough power to take over the whole thing and redesign it to be the way they like it.
