so this is an idea about Ram and Tron…
inspired by the novel’s version of the Deleted Love Scene
which shows both Yori’s and Tron’s circuitry transforming into something less angular, more “flowing”
And while we have footage of how Yori’s version of this looked, I wanted to imagine Tron’s… and also Ram’s, if Ram were to have such a transformation.
The thought I had was:
the MCP chose the patterns they would have while he controlled them.
But what they consider their true form, might be more representative of what they were meant to do.
Ram’s “flowing” lines are probability functions, of various types used in actuarial math
Tron’s are less specific and more similar to his original pattern… but my idea is that the four shapes forming the T represent himself, his User, and his two partners
(as I imagine program intimacy, their ideal number of partners is two other programs plus their User, and this may have been Tron’s goal in life even before he met Ram or even Yori)
and the surrounding lines represent security (his purpose in the System, and also his goal to protect those that he personally loves).
