-as “pico” is to “nano,” therefore one-one-thousandth of the 50k novel attempted in NaNoWriMo

-or, an abbreviation analogous to how NaNoWriMo means National Novel Writing month– “Pithy Comment Writing Month”

Either way if you write 50 words you’ve succeeded
