Is there any general advice for what I, as a non-American living in another country, can do to help my American friends right now?
Offer them your couch for when they flee
too bad you can only marry one of us for immigration purposes. Don’t waste it on me, I’m doing financially okay enough that I’m needed here to help others
also, I guess, don’t forget to take care of yourself and the people around you, in your own country. Because the dumpster fires here give off toxic fumes that can spread all over the world, and it’s probably a good idea to watch out for how that’s affecting things wherever you live.
