lmao, waking up to see that my nearly-asleep self posted this totally forgetting that my Gem-is-short-for-Gemini headcanon isn’t canon

I really did a number on myself using some of my sleep hours for Twin Cities Con before work yesterday. (working night shifts is great for daytime availability but watch out)

anyway my headcanon is the truth and her name is short for Gemini, and her association with Castor (named after one of the Gemini twins) implies the existence of another program, or perhaps backup of the same program, named Pollux
