Ah, you mean the movies that exist in the universe, like the one that Sam had posters and merchandise from in his room?

Yeah, sounds about right.

I doubt any of the characters would have played themselves in a movie about them. And I doubt Kevin Flynn would have chosen to make a movie of exactly what happened to him– for one thing it would have depicted him breaking a lot of laws– and for another thing the events of the original movie, as we know them, really made him look like an oblivious doofus most of the time.

(And now I’m laughing to myself about how Kevin might have retold the story to make himself look much cooler.)
