Even though I usually draw Uprising Tron, I refuse to get rid of all his beautiful lines from the OG movie, so really I’m doing this to myself.

I usually go for an in-between of Uprising and the OG design. And for the other Uprising programs I will add new lines. Of course the trouble with this approach is I then have to go back and reference previous drawings to remember what the heck I did

Haaa, the pain is real

For me though it’s more the opposite? At least, drawing Tron/Alan (trying to get his FACE recognizable) has always been the hardest part for me

As for the circuits, I usually do my own version of the original 1982 design…. and I don’t really bother with either matching canon exactly, OR staying perfectly consistent between my drawings.

Because they’re programs, and the appearance-render that they present to the world is canonically inconsistent anyway, so for all I know their circuit patterns can shift and change all the dang time

…or that’s my excuse anyway. Hey. Whatever gets me to feel like drawing.
