I know that by “turns into a werewolf” OP means “is already a werewolf, and experiences the transformation into wolf form”

But I find it much funnier to imagine that this is a regular person who turns into a werewolf (i.e, into a person with the potential to change into a wolf)

This makes more sense I guess, because if they’re still in human form this does mean they still have all the requisite body parts for continuing doing what they were doing before

Maybe the “dramatic and violent” transformation was just “getting bitten by a possibly-lycanthropic wolf” and then having to go back to work anyway (because capitalism). And the actual werewolf action is gonna happen later

Or maybe the person is a were-werewolf and every full moon they transform into a person who will turn into a wolf at the next full moon except they never do because they just transform back into a person who can’t do that

(I think maybe this is how my menstrual cycle works)
