That “unification” video with Kirk and Spock is beautifully sweet and touching and poignant, but anyone claiming it “makes Spirk canon” never watched TOS or never paid attention during it because the way they act with each other in the new short is literally just the same way they have always acted with each other for ever and ever

if this proves they’re canon, then every time they ever interacted since 1966 also proved they were canon (which imo it totally did so good point)
