but then the Pattern Recognizer went off with how Alan is a high-ranking official in a corporation, and Tron is his city-protecting, spandex-clad alter ego, and both of them have Boy-Wonder-esque proteges who are learning to fight evil just like them)
More specifically, I seriously think that Uprising was inspired by Batman Beyond, since they’re both about a young man taking the name and identity of an old, legendary hero, and is mentored by that hero, who is now a grumpy old man.
