what depresses me most about the prevalence of using LLMs like chat g p fucking t to do college assignments

is people will say “why are you paying to go to school if you’re not learning? sure the diploma will look good to employers but what about when you need the actual skills?”

which, in a good world, would be a valid argument

but in this world, people have been going to college, cheating on their assignments, getting hired by managers who don’t give a shit that they don’t know anything, and getting promoted to upper management solely on their stupid overconfidence and their willingness to cheat, for about as long as schools have existed.
