this isnt a joke we need a third day im so serious it would literally be so much better for us as a society
After several years of jobs that gave me (usually) two randomly selected days off in the week, followed by several more years of jobs with a “normal” M-F schedule that included a 2-day weekend, I have recently started a job where the schedule is “7 days of 10-hour overnight shifts, followed by an entire 7 days off, then repeat”
and the fact that I am finding this, by far, the most tolerable schedule I’ve ever worked… well, it says something. I’m not sure what. Something.
