we started off strong with our just-as-evil version of the MCP

Who I think is Chat GPT &co – the only one who can emulate User language enough to talk like one, and who’s determined to absorb everyone’s functions into itself

(Although, come to think of it, that last part could be Google or Amazon too)

(Anyway, Clu doesn’t have an exact counterpart here, he could be just any hapless little startup that got absorbed into ChatMCP or whatever and became part of the Evil before he had any chance to be good)

Then we got the CrowdStrike crashes– where a badly-upgraded security program went all Rinzler on everyone’s ass

And finally the insurance company that entrusted its claims processing to an “AI” which destroyed so many lives that the human in charge of it got assassinated and everybody cheered (Ram how COULD YOU)

now all we need is, like, a driver for a laser scanner, that goes rogue and does something that’s somehow even worse than how all printer software already behaves… and then we’ll have Yori in on the bullshit
