I always thought the Cat In The Hat sequel (“the cat in the hat comes back,” the one where he makes a cake mess in the tub and transfers the mess to every object in the house one after another until he finally generates a mysterious explosive called VOOM which makes it disappear) was probably an allegory for polluting fossil fuels and nuclear power, or something
But I guess it could also be for entropy and the heat death of the universe
