I now present a random train of my late night thoughts:

• A different Tumblr post sparks thoughts about Clu and my female version Clo.
• Think about what other variations (using basic English vowel sounds) other than [Cl-oo] and [Cl-ow] there could be
• Reason that [Cl-ay] and [Cl-ee] would be the nice ones because [Cl-eye] doesn’t sound enough like a name by itself
• [Cl-eye] actually sounds like the beginning of “Clyde”.
• Wait, Clyde? Like the Pac-Man ghost?
• Giggle at remembering the Pac-Man cameo in the original movie

Conclusions:

1. Try to do something with the character concept of Clay and Cli/Clee someday.
2. Specifically Clu 2’s real human name would be Clyde and he would hate it.
