Kind of awesome being raised under a rock because I hear about a movie and go yeah I’ll check that out. Never heard of it before. Watch it. Get my DICK blown off. And then am like. Wow…… has anyone else heard about this critically acclaimed film with a 96% on rotten tomatoes that great filmmakers cite an inspiration for THEIR critically acclaimed films……..

this reminded me of me getting into Tron (1982) last year so I went to look up just what the rotten tomatoes score on that is, and it looks like it’s actually a lot lower than that for both critics and audience

anyway I have some serious horny brainrot because the combination of Popcorn and 69% reminds me of Ram

a couple more thoughts in no particular order

- I do not care at all about either of those numbers, I love the movie myself and that’s what matters to me

- “get my dick blown off” is not how I would describe that love, but it’s probably accurate for many fans. Including some of the ones for whom the movie was a trans awakening

So it sounds like not a single sentence in my post is applicable to you

dang i guess you’re right

nothing beyond the initial fleeting impression of “getting interested in an old movie that’s already well-known and influential.” not sure why exactly i found it relatable enough to comment on in the first place.

perhaps after i got curious about the rottentomatoes score there was just some annoying 12-year-old in my brain that wanted to make a joke about the popcorn reference and the number 69. ….and then the dick joke of course

guess it’s time for me to go touch grass ice & snow for a while. (when the annoying 12-year-old that has to comment on everything starts to come out, usually means i’ve been online too long)

bye for now
