In my erotica about Tron programs, I tend to take a sort of weird semi-asexual angle, where I picture them having only an approximation of human anatomy and getting off mainly on energy and data transfer and circuit touching.
I’ve struggled with how to tag this on AO3. I used “Ken Doll anatomy” for my last smut fic, and it’s not far off. But taking some input from furry erotica, it seems like maybe the closest tag to the way I write these scenes is “null bulge”– although that seems to be used primarily on stories about furry characters experiencing stuff like latex transformation.
In any case, the computer nerd side of me is secretly pleased with the word “null” for this arrangement.
(As I’ve written Sark as being one of the few programs in the system with fully human genitalia, his use of “null unit” as an insult takes on a new meaning that I quite like.)
Aaaaand now my Pattern Recognizer just suggested that I write about a program getting doll-ified by being turned into a markup text document, and call it “LaTeX transformation,” and I think I am done writing for today
