I just love this post cause it looks so silly but in reality Godzilla was created as a metaphor for the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and Barbie has become a modern symbol of female freedom and empowerment.

also. Can’t help remembering the Godzilla movie that came out …. a bunch of years ago where Godzilla was 1. Pregnant 2. Somehow diagnosable via a whole lotta human pregnancy tests the protagonist just picked up from a drugstore and 3. this was not Godzilla’s fault in any way shape or form, even from the fundamentalist “you chose to have sex so you have to have the baby” viewpoint, because Godzilla reproduces asexually and can’t help it
