Ram’s death is honestly so. something. I mean, in most of our pop culture, an angel appearing in front of you or a vision of Jesus means you’re either getting saved or being taken to the other side, but always with the idea that it’ll be something you do hand and hand with the otherworldly being that’s chosen to be with you.

Except, it isn’t like that. Kevin is from a world that had no concept of his and others’ creations even having sentience that has been put on those creations’ level to battle alongside them and see their world. Things that were just blips on a screen (even below how we view ants) now speak the same language and have minds, hopes, sorrow and humanoid bodies that can feel pain.

Like, he has some understanding of the fact he has User powers around the time Ram’s about to pass, but when that time comes…nothing. Utter helplessness outside of comforting like you would a dying human. That’ll change once Yori’s in trouble, because plot, but in that moment, he’s just kneels and looks confused.

And imagine you were Ram here. You just found out your friend was a god, the sort that you worship, only for him to just watch you bleed out with concern plastered on his face. Yeah, it’s good he was nice enough to stay with you till the end, but…damn. That’s God?

My point is that Tron could easily be reverse Lovecraftian horror. The outergods are here and they’re confused and what do you mean you’re injured? Am I supposed to do something about that?? I didn’t know you all even qualified as being alive an hour ago!
