So I’ve written a fair amount in the headcanon that during their imprisonment together, Ram and Tron were not particularly good at expressing how much they cared about each other

(especially Tron, though even Ram only had his occasional expressive moments whenever he couldn’t hold it back anymore)

(part of it is, they were both aware the MCP exploited feelings of affection, so admitting you love someone is putting them in danger. But part of it is also just… repressed fraggin’ firewall whose vocabulary doesn’t contain many appreciative words besides “nice”)

Anyway I imagine they just… helped each other out whenever they could.

With physical needs, like guys do sometimes in prison, but also just with survival (we know they got good at the cooperative Lightcycle kill, for instance)

And I think just…. helping each other, in whatever assorted ways, became their main way of expressing love, when they couldn’t bring themselves to say anything in words

…Basically what I’m saying is…

“Help Tron” = “tell my wife I love her”
