tron: what’s a vacuum tube

sam: what old computers use. like the old encom mainframe where you existed in your first version, before the whole Flynn’s Grid thing.

tron: it sounds awful.

sam: it’s where you were born, silly. you HAVE memories from there. you’ve TOLD me how fondly you remember that place. what’s wrong with it being vacuum tubes?

tron: …i don’t like vacuum tubes.

sam: how come? they’re cool! and you just now learned what they even are!

tron: “vacuum” reminds me of dyson.
