if you’re someone who’s always been weird in so many ways (both physical and mental, both diagnosed and undiagnosed) that you know the word “abnormal” primarily from it being used as a slur against you, and very seldom being used to do anything helpful…

then, sometimes, you can end up kind of cautious, trying to interpret people saying that such-and-such health problem is “not normal.”

what do they mean by that?

…does it mean “this is not how most people are”? ….(yeah, no shit, nothing about me is. your point?)

…does it mean “if this is enough of a problem for you that you’d like to change it, there are treatments available"… (okay, I MIGHT find this to be somewhat of interest, depending)

…does it mean "if you consult a doctor about this, they will give you valuable input and actually direct you to the treatments that are available"… (LMFAO. Bullshit. there is NO WAY I am believing that.)
