I have zero Yu-Gi-Oh knowledge, I’m here for Tron fandom… but this hit very hard on several parts of me:

the part that was convinced from the very first days of the manhunt that they were gonna pin it on somebody even if they couldn’t find an actually plausible suspect

the part that decided Ram (Tron 1982) would have been absolutely devastated about having been actuarial software for an insurance company if he ever found out what insurance companies are really like

The part that later realized – if Ram got rerezzed years later and had the opportunity for vengeance on what was basically his own personal MCP, he’d do it and get away with it– but afterwards he’d be even more devastated to realize that his actions led to the persecution of yet another innocent

The part that loves symbolism, and the part that keeps finding themes of role reversal in Tron canon

…the part that sees any sheep and immediately thinks “Ram”
